Atlanta Magazine

I have been fortunate to work with Atlanta magazine as the Digital Content Campaign Manager since 2021. In this role, I have worn many hats and been able to write content on all social platforms for the magazine. Whether it's internal promotions or digital campaigns for clients, I make sure it is given a voice on social media. To see more, check us out @atlantamagazine.

I have proficiency in the major social platforms that include Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok. I have experience writing for these platforms as well as managing paid social campaigns.

By now you’ve certainly heard the news: five Atlanta restaurants boast one Michelin Star ⭐️ with nearly 40 others receiving other distinctions from the prestigious international dining guide. Atlas, Bacchanalia, Hayakawa, Lazy Betty, and Mujo won big, while other longtime favorites were skipped over altogether. At the link in bio, read what some Atlanta chefs and restaurateurs had to say about the awards, plus a few other observations and interesting tidbits from Tuesday's @michelinguide ceremony. 📝 @carfeltcoop

The Red & Black Publishing Co.

The summer of 2020 was without a doubt a historical one. It became all the more imperative for social media to deliver accurate and useful information while focusing on giving people a voice. For a news organization like The Red & Black, it was a time for growth as we were fully relying on digital media to tell our stories for the first time ever. This was due to the temporary discontinuation of our printed paper since The University of Georgia's campus was shut down. I had the compelling opportunity to work as the Social Media Editor during this time and was able to cover relevant subjects including social justice and the effects of COVID-19 in the Athens community.

After the scheduled rally in downtown Athens ended, several hundred protesters stayed until midnight to listen to speakers, stand in solidarity and dance. This marked the seventh consecutive day of protests in Athens calling for racial justice and an end to police violence against black people.

Is your mask a little too big? Does someone next to you have their nose hanging out of their mask? Are your friends wearing their masks anywhere other than on their faces? The Red & Black put together a guide to ensure the one-size-fits-most UGA masks fit properly.

New rules for an earlier last call time to sell alcohol were passed and then suspended, leaving Athens' nightlife scene with an uncertain future as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to worsen and University of Georgia students return to Athens.
